Stand-alone Solar Thermal Power Projects Project Manager Needed

The Project Manager will support and manage the development of stand-alone solar thermal power projects in Southwest states using proprietary Compact Linear Fresnel reflector technology, as well as the sale of solar field to utility scale customers. Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will support the field office and local team to meet objectives in the state.
Responsibilities:
• Perform activities related to site acquisition, environmental permitting and regulatory/legislative proceedings.
• In concert with Commercial team, participate in and/or lead discussions with utility customers, EPC vendors, and financial institutions to conclude project finance activities.
• Develop pro forma pricing and project proposals for utility customers.
• Participate in preparing and executing public outreach and media strategies that are project-specific.
• Initiate and manage interconnection of projects to the grid.
• Interface with Engineering and Execution Departments to ensure appropriate project design.
Requirements
• Technical or Financial Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus.
• 5+ years experience in power project development.
• A team player who can drive and advance projects.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented with excellent written, analytic, and Verbal skills.
• Experienced in some, or all, of the following: private, state, and federal land acquisition, construction permitting, project finance, management of interconnection processes, financial modeling, and on-site construction management and inspection.
