We are seeking an Assistant Director of SCA Conservation Corps Western Programs, based in SCA’s Boise, ID office. This position is responsible for the quality and effectiveness of all western Corps program activity, and reports to the National Director of Conservation Corps.
The Western Corps Assistant Director will supervise, oversee and support the Corps Program Directors as they manage the day-to-day operations of five exciting Conservation Corps programs. This role will include program design and development, assuring program/site goals and objectives are set and achieved, hiring and training staff, and maintaining relationships with all granting and agency partners. (S)he will also represent the interests of the western Corps programs to other SCA departments and the SCA headquarters, serve on the Risk Management and other teams as appropriate, step in as a back-up for the Corps National Director and Eastern Assistant Director as needed, and provide leadership for SCA’s Boise office.
