Project Engineer Wanted with Photovoltaic design Experience

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with solar photovoltaic design and field experience for the position of Project Engineer. This position will report to the Senior Project Engineer within the Project Operations organization and will require 5-10% travel.
Responsibilities:
• Technical site assessment reviews and pre-design site walk-downs.
• Detailed review and coordination of design of photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Establishment of performance targets and process for performance monitoring & validation.
• Adherence to quality and safety standards for design and installation work.
• Maintenance of detailed check-lists for review and inspection of completed installation for
acceptance by our Client.
• Responsibility for providing technical direction during startup, testing, PV system
commissioning and performance monitoring.
• Technical support during Operations and Maintenance to O & M personnel.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of IEEE and other governing standards for design of solar PV systems
• A minimum of 2-4 years of commercial experience in electrical design and electrical
installations
• A minimum of 2 years of solar PV system design
• Field experience in installation, startup and commissioning
Personal
• Professional with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
• Collaborative: works and plays well with others
• Comfortable in and excited about working at a start-up
Education
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Desirable Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of output, performance and reliability factors of various
commercially available PV modules and inverters
• Professional Engineer (Electrical) license

purchase agreements.
After securing $10 million in venture financing last year, they announced a $200 million project fund with a top tier investment bank that has committed to underwrite its solar projects.
