We are currently looking for an experienced STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join our growing team.
Specifc responsibilities/qualifications include:
Responsibilities
•Work collaboratively with engineering, installation, and product teams to develop new solar products for SolarCity
•Perform structural, seismic, and wind-load analysis
•Prepare detailed design documentation for permitting approvals
•Identify, understand, and secure required certifications
•Identify and adhere to relevant sections of building code
•Identify and work with suppliers, fabricators, tooling companies, and vendors
Requirements
Requirements
•BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
•Professional Engineer’s Credentials
•2 – 5 years of structural engineering experience
•Deep knowledge of universal building code
