Veeco Seeking Solar Applications Engineer in St Paul, MN

We have an exciting opportunity for a Solar Applications Engineer to work in a small, flexible engineering group that is developing new deposition technologies for the solar power market. The ideal candidate will have experience with photovoltaic deposition technologies, vacuum system and component design, and strong customer relations experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provides project and engineering leadership of a Veeco solar components business.
• Maintains the project schedule from the initial system sales order through installation and customer requirement, communicating facility requirements and adherence to timeliness and milestones.
• Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions.
• Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing.

Requirements
Job Qualifications:
• 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree required.
• 5+ years experience, preferably in a semiconductor or photovoltaic field.
