Panel Installation

By SolarPromoter - 01.12.2008

Due to increased demand of alternative energy sources, there are a number of solar photovoltaic installers who are trying to streamline their businesses into a “national grid” of their own to increase implementation of the technology. I think it is pretty interesting that competitors would find a way to get together and come up with a solution for people across the nation who might want to implement this technology.

If you have ever noticed, there are a whole smattering of individual companies across the country that install photovoltaic panels, but not one in particular who covers both Pacific and Atlantic as well as everything between (Granted, this isn’t spring plungers or something similarly benign). Recently, Wal-Mart in California began implementing kiosks in there stores to assist customers in locating contractors in their area with all the services they would need to install the systems. Well, I just learned that Real Goods Solar is working on a similar project that is to span the nation by bringing together different solar experts from all over into their database for their customers. Currently the company is covering mostly California, but may soon expand further East.
