Imagine a source of concentrated sunlight traversing the surface of a stone and leaving a trail of molten glass in its wake. Imagine if instead of a stone, that concentrated light were crossing a photovoltaic panel that absorbed the aforementioned light and transformed it into a useable energy source.
The power of solar energy has been an area of interest of forward thinking scientists for some time now. Many scientists have begun to develop advanced focusing techniques utilizing powerful lens’ to greater magnify the power of the sun. Imagine the potential of concentrating the power of highly magnified sunlight onto an array of photovoltaic panels, now that’s solar power and not to be wasted on extra bathroom lighting!
